We Heart Veterans
Your Donations Make a Difference
Thanks to our generous supporters, including the many members of Slidell Ladies For Liberty and Mr. Wheelchair, we were able to change the lives of two wonderful people! Captain John Rogers and Mrs. Josephine Stephens are speeding around on their new electric scooters.
Who We Are
We Heart Veterans, a local non-profit, in conjunction with VetAttend, helps Veterans and their Widows:
- Obtain non-medical home care services to improve their quality of life
- Bring local and national attention to the problem our Veterans face every day
- Help Veterans receive local and State awards to show them our appreciation for their sacrifice. Read More
Adopt A Veteran
We Heart Veterans’ Adopt A Veteran campaign is a wonderful way for individuals, businesses and service organizations to offer their resources, so the lives of our ill and aging veterans can be enhanced.
The purpose of our Adopt A Veteran program is to make sure our Veterans know they are not alone, but part of a family following our motto of “Supporting Those Who Served.”
Adopt a Veteran in memory of someone special and receive a Certificate of Adoption, as well as listing on our Memorial Page.
NOW is the time to take action and change the lives of the Veterans in our community!
